Winter in Alaska has arrived! I truly enjoyed my drive down to the Kenai Peninsula this weekend; it is always a wonderful drive south of Anchorage, but I especially enjoy going down when fall has just turned to winter, and the inlet is bursting with new ice formations that sparkle in the bold winter light.
